Catalog Description
Gracefully arching grass topped with silvery-white plumes. Dark green blades are highlighted with a creamy white stripe. Include for textural contrast in perennial or shrub beds. Herbaceous. Full to partial sun. Moderate, clumping grower to 6 feet tall, clumps 3 to 5 feet wide. Division.
Design Ideas

A most gorgeous variegated ornamental grass. Makes an exceptional light minty green and white accent for beds and borders, and large rock gardens. Plant as a vertical accent among low-growing plants or at the corners of a square patio. Line it up as background foliage for a bed of dwarf shrubs and perennials. Perfect near water gardens and fountains as wildlife cover, to disguise mechanical pumps or filters and to give the illusion of reeds. Also lovely in cobalt-blue or mint-green ceramic pots for patio, porch or terrace.
Companion Plants

This grass looks lovely mixed with contrasting plants of every kind.
Particularly compatible with Grecian Pattern Plant (Acanthus mollis `Oak Leaf`), Alice Oakleaf Hydrangea (Hydrangea quercifolia `Alice`) and the fine, low foliage of Icee BlueTM Juniper (Juniperus horizontalis `Monber`).
Absolutely gorgeous with Tolleson`s Blue Weeping Juniper (Juniperus scopulorum `Tolleson`s Blue Weeping`) in the background and the little Elijah Blue Fescue (Festuca cinerea `Elijah Blue`) down front.
