Plant Lore
|
Plant History This is a vigorous floribunda rose that was developed by Mrs. Walter D. Brownwell of Little Compton, Rhode Island, and introduced in 1941. They have produced numerous hybrids with strong influence from R. wichuriana. One parent is Dr. van Fleet, a rambler derived from R. wichuriana and Safrano. The other parent is Leuchtstern a little known tea rose hybrid. |
