This vigorous, long-blooming shrub from South Africa has orange-pink tubular flowers with yellow throats. Blooms from June through frost when regularly deadheaded. In the wild, this plant grew at high altitudes near streams.

Needs regular water. Pile compost around base in fall in zones 5 and 6 to protect roots from cold. Cut back in spring. Irrigate during winter if not receiving regular precipitation.
