This stately perennial has large, textured foliage and whorls of showy pink flowers that can be cut for fresh or dry arrangements. The upright architectural form and whorled seedheads of this perennial are highly ornamental in the fall and winter garden.
This plant does well in the perennial border where its height and flowers provide interest in the early summer. A xeric plant when placed in a shady location.
