This annual produces masses of colorful blooms on a bushy 2-foot plant from midsummer until frost. Sow seeds directly outdoors. Some varieties grow to 5 - 10 feet tall, however most grow to 1 - 2 feet. This is an easy plant to grow in dry and infertile soils. Deadheading will prolong flowering. Seeds can also be sown in autumn.
