Pinus strobus (Nana Group) is a group of compact, shrubby, mounded, irregularly branched, spreading, dwarf forms of eastern white pine. These slow-growing plants stay compact, even at maturity, frequently reaching 4-7 feet in height and 6-10 feet in width. It has soft, silvery blue green needles.
This low-maintenance pine makes a good specimen plant or part of a foundation planting or shrub border. It tolerates a variety of soil and water situations, but prefers full sun and fertile soil.
