Attractive, fragrant gray-green foliage is one of the many desirable characteristics of this lavender. It grows as an upright shrub that has historically been a favorite due to its dense habit and the rich color of its abundant violet-blue flowers. It has a sweet English lavender scent. The extremely fragrant flowers are used in teas, sachets, soaps and perfumes and are also good as dried flowers.
