An extremely popular variety of Hosta is this tetraploid sport of H. 'Francee'. This variety has a much wider pure-white leaf margin, making it one of the most distinctive hostas. The 3-foot wide clumps are topped with medium-lavender flowers in early summer. The first plant released sold for $875 at the 1992 American Hosta Society Convention! The leaves are 8 inches long by 6 inches wide with a creamy-white margin that changes to white as the season progresses. The plant forms few seed pods.

This plant is a great addition to brighten up a shady spot in the garden.
