This groundcover features iridescent salmon pink flowers. It is a vigorous, compact, and floriferous plant. This variety was selected from a sport of a plant of Delosperma cooperi at Denver Botanic Gardens in 1997. It is named after long-time Denver Botanic Gardens Horticulturist and plant explorer Panayoti Kelaidis.
