This lamb's ear cultivar is noted for its silver-green foliage that forms an attractive groundcover. The leaves are large with long silky hairs covering the top that are reminiscent of a lamb's ear. The leaves may be evergreen in warm climates.

This is an ideal groundcover for a sunny, dry garden border or rock garden. It may rot or have summer die-out in humid or moist conditions, but 'Big Ears' has better resistance to these propblems.
