The foliage of this plant is linear in shape and has a fuzzy texture; the floral branches are lined with fuzzy lavender calyx with white fuzzy petals emerging from inside. Mexican bush sage blooms in the summer and fall and it is great for attracting hummingbirds into the garden.

Salvia leucantha is a great addition to a sunny spot in any garden, especially an annual flower garden or in containers. The flowers make nice additions to dried floral arrangements.
